Broad Comedy has been producing snarky, provocative and lovable feminist comedy and musical-satire since 2001. They perform Off-Broadway, tour their show around the country, and absolutely can not wait to perform at your organization’s upcoming fundraiser, gala or event! Broad Comedy has helped raise over $2,000,000 for progressive causes including Planned Parenthood, The ACLU and Women’s Health Organizations! The Broads customize all of their content to focus on the issues that matter to you. As long as you are not planning on voting for Donald Trump (again), and you think equality is sexy… we’re here for you!

Broad Comedy has worked with progressive organizations for over a decade, bringing our all-women comedy troupe's signature brand of riotous feminist comedy to your supporters at fundraisers and events. There has NEVER been a time as good as this to motivate the younger generations and to re-inspire current supporters who need a pick-me-up. A feisty Broad Comedy show is the answer to getting these activists out and ACTIVE, and to getting donations in an easy and fun way. We do smart, thoughtful framing of the issues, by putting them into song and sketch and get your audiences inspired.

At Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, we helped raise $594,700!!!
We’ve performed for Mt. Baker Planned Parenthood and Planned Parenthood GWNI for the three years in a row!
In Montana, Planned Parenthood has an annual 300-person dinner. The first year that we did our show, Planned Parenthood of MT had twice as many people as the year before, which they said was due to bringing us in. And the second year grew another 30%! Michael DeGroat, the Director Of Development said: "We owe that large turn out to the fact that Broad Comedy was a big pull for people. The crowd loved them. The material was right on track with our mission and inspired our audiences and gave them renewed energy for the cause."
At Planned Parenthood Great Plains in Oklahoma City, we helped raise $135,000 at their gala where a board member said, “Their production was really polished, first-class entertainment and the subject matter the right tone for the Planned Parenthood audience!"
At Boulder Valley Women’s Health, we did a fundraiser for the Boulder Women's Clinic in a 900-seat theatre and did a two-act show. Tickets were between $20 (General Admission) and $75 (VIP seats). The whole event grossed $85,000, but the most exciting thing was they brought in 250 new members that night who came because of the show and didn't know much about the Clinic's organization beforehand. Katie and the Broads went back for a second and third year (with totally new material both times) and brought in more new members and more money. Katie's live auctioneering brought in 50% more than the professional auctioneer had the year before!
We did a 3-city tour for ACLU of Montana!
Raised over $115,000 on our California tour at Planned Parenthood Central California and Planned Parenthood Mar Monte!
